Color Pencil

 was surprised when I began this botanical art stuff to find color pencil used as a fine art medium. It had been considered, as far as I knew, as a comping medium. Something used for layouts and sketches but not finished art. But I have seen people get incredible results with it and I'm very happy to use it for finished pieces.

I expect to work in color pencil more in the future, you can get such wonderfully detailed and vivid images.
